CORRECTION: Ethics Committee Applications

Dear Researchers,

Periodically, there can be significant increases in the number of applications submitted for Ethics
Committee evaluations. Failure to carefully review the information and forms available on the Human
Research Ethics Committee website before submitting applications adds to the committee's workload and can prolong the evaluation process.

To ensure faster and more effective evaluation of your applications, we kindly request your attention to
the following points:

- Completion of all forms: Applications can be prepared in Turkish or English; forms in both
languages are available on the website.

- Allowing sufficient time after submission: A period of at least a few weeks should be allowed
for the committee to review the applications and request revisions if necessary.

- Compliance with language and formatting rules: It is important to prepare your applications in
accordance with language rules and writing standards (e.g., font usage, line spacing). Please
ensure that forms are checked before submission.

- Forms should not include specific methodological details such as detailed literature surveys, planned surveys,
or interview tools. All such details must be provided asseparate attachments.

- Student applications: Applications prepared by students must be pre-reviewed and corrected by
their advisors. Additionally, it is essential to include the names of the advisors in the project
documentation and in emails related to the application.
